SUPPORT FOR CULTURAL ARTS ORGANIZATIONS

A tiny increase in city sales tax opens a world of wonder.

See the Cultural Access GH Intro slide deck here.

About

At just .01 increase in city sales tax, it's a game changer.

Gig Harbor, Washington

We're a growing community with a growing need to preserve our heritage, spark our arts, and conserve our natural landscape. This initiative makes it easy and affordable for everyone in the Gig Harbor area to support and benefit from local organizations such as the Harbor History Museum, Harbor WildWatch, Gig Harbor BoatShop, and Peninsula Hands-on Art.

Projects

Cultural Access Gig Harbor is based on state legislation that allows cities and counties to impose a one tenth of one percent increase on local sales tax to help fund nonprofit arts, culture, and science-based education organizations and student access to programs provided by those organizations.

WHAT YOUR DOLLARS WILL DO
For just a one tenth of one percent increase in city sales tax

(that means 8.8% would become 8.9% sales tax),

you can help support community program providers like these:

And more...
